Mar 11, 2019

Savings Institute Bank & Trust’s employees recently donated more than $3,800 to 24 worthy local organizations in Eastern Connecticut and Southern Rhode Island. The donations came from the bank’s 100% employee funded Caring & Giving Program.

“For nearly twenty years, the Savings Institute team has shown it’s compassion for the community we serve through this unique program,” stated Bill Anderson, Senior Vice President and Caring & Giving Program Chairperson. “This quarter’s donations will go to help many area senior centers and other amazing organizations that support the elderly.”

The Caring & Giving Program was established in 2000 and has donated more than $280,000 to worthwhile community organizations that employees hand select each quarter of the year.
