Savings Institute Foundation Grants over $106,000 to Area Organizations

Willimantic, CT (January 2019) – SI Financial Foundation, Inc., recently awarded more than $106,000 in grants to 24 Connecticut and Rhode Island non-profit organizations including United Services, The Light House, Windham Public Schools, Horses Healing Humans, the Jonnycake Centers in both Peacedale and Westerly, Visiting Nurses of Bristol and Newport Counties and more. SI Financial Foundation, Inc. was established in 2005 by SI Financial Group, Inc., the parent company of the Savings Institute Bank & Trust.

"These deserving organizations provide a positive impact in the areas we serve,” remarked Rheo Brouillard, CEO and President, Savings Institute Bank & Trust. 

Grants received went to support the valuable programs or projects of each organization, including supporting employment programs, veteran services, emergency food pantries, and maternal child health programs.
