SI Financial Foundation, Inc Grants $15,500 to Rhode Island Non-Profits

SI Financial Foundation, Inc., recently awarded $15,500 in grants to five Rhode Island non-profit organizations including Boys & Girls Club of Newport County, Johnnycake Center, Inc, Soujourner House, Visiting Nurse Services of Newport and Bristol Counties and St. Clare Home. SI Financial Foundation, Inc. was established in 2005 by SI Financial Group, Inc., the parent company of the Savings Institute Bank & Trust.

"We’re proud to be able to give back to the communities we serve in the form of these grants,” remarked Rheo Brouillard, CEO and President, Savings Institute Bank & Trust.  “These organizations provide much needed support to the people who make the areas we live in great.”

Grants received went to support the valuable programs or projects of each organization, including providing invaluable support to our youth, housing and food assistance and helping the elderly.
