WILLIMANTIC CT (SEPTEMBER 2016) – Savings Institute Bank & Trust’s Chief Administrative Officer and Executive Vice President, Laurie Gervais was recently recognized as one of Connecticut’s Women of FIRE (Finance, Insurance and Real Estate) by The Commercial Record. This award identifies the most talented, ambitious, innovative and philanthropic women of the industries. Recipients were featured in a recent issue of The Commercial Record magazine and acknowledged with a lunch at the Aqua Turf Club.

Laurie started her career at Savings Institute Bank & Trust three decades ago as a part-time teller and through her hard work and commitment has achieved the position of Chief Administrative Officer and Executive Vice President. She is actively involved in the community, serving as Corporator at the Windham County Memorial Hospital and volunteering at Habitat for Humanity and Relay for life. Laurie lives in Windham Connecticut with her husband.
