SI Financial Foundation, Inc Awards Grants to Connecticut Causes

WILLIMANTIC CT - SI Financial Foundation, Inc., recently awarded $32,000 in grants to twelve Connecticut non-profit organizations including Horses Healing Humans, Center for Hospice Care, Covenant Soup Kitchen, ARC of Quinebaug Valley and Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center, among others.

SI Financial Group Foundation, Inc. was established in 2005 by SI Financial Group, Inc., the parent company of the Savings Institute Bank & Trust.

"We’re proud that the SI Financial Foundation [Inc] allows us to give back to great organizations in the Connecticut communities we serve that share our goal of bettering the lives of those who live here,” remarked Rheo Brouillard, CEO and President, Savings Institute Bank & Trust.

Grants received went to support the valuable programs or projects of each organization, including supplying emergency needs, supporting meal and elderly service programs, along with allowing for much-needed renovations.
