Recipients of the CT River Council Outstanding Leadership Award

Savings Institute Bank & Trust Director of Retail Lending Honored

MANSFIELD CT – Savings Institute Bank & Trust’s Director of Retail Lending and SVP, Gene Michael Deary was recently honored with the Outstanding Leadership Award from the Connecticut Rivers Council, Boy Scouts of America at their inaugural Evening of Champions Fundraising Recognition Reception.

 “We’re proud to have Gene Michael on our team here at Savings Institute Bank & Trust. His commitment to the communities we serve through various memberships and volunteer work is truly deserving of such recognition,” remarked Rheo Brouillard, President, and CEO, Savings Institute Bank & Trust.

Gene Michael’s dedication to local gymnastics, including coaching at Woodstock Academy, his service on several non-profit boards, and the Deary Memorial Cancer Fund earned him this prestigious award. The Boy Scouts honored two other individuals who also model the organizations values of instilling service, citizenship and community involvement in its members.
