Newport, RI (August 2016) – SI Financial Group Foundation, Inc., recently awarded $5,000 in grants to Rhode Island non-profit organizations including the Boys & Girls Club of Newport County, Sail to Prevail and the Star Kids’ Scholarship Program.
SI Financial Group Foundation, Inc. was established in 2005 by SI Financial Group, Inc., the parent company of the Savings Institute Bank & Trust.

Grants received by Boys & Girls Club of Newport County and the Star Kids’ Scholarship Program will support their continued services to the community, while the grant received by Sail to Prevail will go to specifically assist with the Tent and Flagpole Project.
