WILLIMANTIC CT (JUNE 2016) – Rheo Brouillard, President, and CEO, Savings Institute Bank & Trust recently announced that Gene Michael Deary, Director of Retail Lending, has been promoted to Senior Vice President.
“Gene Michael’s knowledge of consumer and residential lending, along with his strong and enthusiastic team approach have been vital to the success of our Retail Lending department and branch system,” stated Rheo Brouillard.
Gene Michael came to Savings Institute Bank & Trust in 2014 and has been instrumental in growing the consumer and residential lending portfolio, which included the expansion of the bank’s solutions to meet customers’ changing needs. Outside of the bank, Gene Michael is active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors for ARC of Quinebaug Valley, serving as Finance Chair to the Town of Brooklyn and coaching gymnastics at Deary’s Gymnastics and several local high schools. He resides in Brooklyn with his family.
