WILLIMANTIC, CT (APRIL 2016) – Savings Institute Bank & Trust is proud to announce that Jason White, Vice President and Director of Information Technology, has received this year’s President’s Award. Each year the bank carefully selects a team member who exemplifies the bank’s core values and goes above and beyond in the performance of their job.
“Jason’s hard work throughout the years on various projects has helped increase security and functionality for the bank as a whole,” remarked Rheo Brouillard, President and CEO. “Aside from his contributions to the bank, Jason is active in the Information Technology community. In the past he’s traveled to DC to help increase cyber security controls in the industry through server virtualization. His leadership at the bank and in the IT community is invaluable.”
Jason began his career at Savings Institute Bank & Trust in 1999 where he has implemented Document Management, Reports Management, Workstation and Server Virtualization, Security Controls and most recently a system to help provide meaningful information to branch team members for referral purposes. Jason holds a variety of certifications from vendors such as Cisco, Novell and Microsoft and represents the bank at IT forums as a contributing expert for panel discussions and technical articles. He lives in Scotland, CT with his wife and three children.
