SI Foundation Awards Grant to Maternal and Child Health Program

(Portsmouth, RI) The SI Financial Group Foundation recently awarded a $3,000 grant to the Maternal and Child Health Program at VNS of Newport and Bristol Counties.  This program provides free, voluntary, confidential home visits in Barrington, Bristol, East Providence, Jamestown, Little Compton, Middletown, Newport, Portsmouth, Tiverton and Warren to pregnant women and families with young children, birth to age three. This grant will help cover expenses for their program coordination.  “It is truly a pleasure to help support the Visiting Nurse Services of Newport and Bristol Counties, their commitment to this unique program is admirable.” Stated Rheo Brouillard, President & CEO at Savings Institute Bank & Trust.
