Willimantic, CT (May 13, 2013) – Bill Anderson has transferred to the Savings Institute Bank & Trust’s commercial lending area, according to Rheo Brouillard, President and CEO. Mr. Anderson has for the past 18 years served the bank as a branch manager, a regional manager and most recently as the senior executive overseeing branch administration, marketing and residential mortgage lending.
“This is a true win-win move for both Bill and for the bank,” explained Brouillard. “Being able to further fortify our commercial lending team with someone of Bill’s caliber should go a long way to making our commercial lending efforts ever more competitive. And I know from Bill’s point of view, ” Brouillard continued, “ he is very excited about joining Paul Little and his business lending team.”
As Senior Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer, Bill will be working to continue to grow the bank’s commercial loan business. Bill will be offering a variety of lending and business solutions to firms along the Route 395 corridor from the shoreline to the Norwich area.
“The fact that many businesses just don’t think of the Savings Institute as a resource for their business banking and borrowing needs is a real opportunity”, stated Anderson. “I think we’re in a position to really turn some heads.”
Mr. Anderson can be reached at (860) 456-6524.
